Technical Arts Training @ Pillsbury
TAT provides community members looking for a career path an onramp into a variety of technical arts fields. This fully paid training program teaches skills that open up access to high demand jobs within the industry and that are easily transferable to a multitude of lucrative trades.

Phase 1
Introductory exposure to six technical arts:
Carpentry
Scenic Painting
Welding
Theatrical Lighting
Sound
Projections

Phase 2
One-on-one apprenticeships at performance venues across the Twin Cities. An opportunity to work with professionals on live productions in your area of interest.

Phase 3
Support in finding your first job placement in your new career. We will work with our partners to find a quality fit as you enter the workforce and will offer continued mentorship and resources to help you find your footing.



Career Readiness Training
Throughout our phases you will receive regular career readiness training in resumé writing, interview preparation, financial management, leadership, collaboration, and more.
